OK, let’s talk about wine. As I’ve mentioned before, I have never really toured Wine Country, but I’ve toured many aisles at different liquor stores. So there was no question a wine tour would be booked while visiting Southern Ontario. And since I am now somewhat of a seasoned vet when it comes to exploration on a bicycle this would be the only way for me to experience my wine tour.Inniskillin WineryWe did some googling and found a great bicycle tour that would lead us on a 5 hour joyride of 4 award winning wineries. Our Grape Escape Wine Tour was wonderful and actually a bit of a workout on this 15 km bike ride! The guide was funny and extremely knowledgeable. PLUS, the tour included cheese pairing – which basically sealed the deal right there. I had no idea what a difference cheese could make to the taste of wine! Seriously, try Ice Wine and Blue Cheese, it sounds like this pair belongs in divorce court but it changed my life.

P.S., bicycle wine tour snap chatting is also something I’ve now mastered. Then again, Im pretty much a master at anything when I have a couple of glasses of wine in me…
